Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 02 November 2026
Scope of this policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related digital resources offered through the website operated by freshtiq. The policy covers enrolment in our informative resources dedicated to audiovisual production excellence, including broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering, and streamlined workflows for television networks and live events. It sets out the terms under which payments are processed and refunds may be granted for these services in the United Kingdom.
Prices, currencies, taxes and additional charges
All prices displayed on the site are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Any applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout based on the location of the purchaser. Additional charges such as payment processing fees may apply depending on the chosen payment method and will be disclosed before payment is authorised. No hidden surcharges are imposed after a transaction is confirmed.
Accepted payment methods and security
We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and selected digital wallets through secure third-party payment processors. All transactions are authorised in real time and protected by industry-standard encryption. Payment details are never stored on our servers. By submitting payment information you authorise us to process the charge for the selected course or resource package.
Order confirmation and contract formation
Upon successful payment a confirmation email is sent to the address you provide. This email constitutes acceptance of your order and formation of the contract between you and freshtiq. Access to the purchased digital content is granted immediately upon confirmation unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
Cancellation rights and cooling-off periods
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed without giving a reason. However, where digital content is supplied immediately and you have expressly consented to its delivery before the cooling-off period expires, the right to cancel may be lost once download or access begins.
Refund eligibility and exclusions
Refunds are available where cancellation occurs within the statutory cooling-off period and before substantial access to the course materials has taken place. No refund will be issued for courses that have been fully accessed, downloaded or completed. Promotional or discounted purchases may be subject to additional exclusions clearly stated at the point of sale. Non-refundable items include any bundled resources or live workshop components once attended.
Procedure for requesting a refund
To request a refund you must contact us in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page or by email to info@dramabydesign.com. Your request should include your full name, order reference number, date of purchase and a brief description of the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge receipt of all refund requests within five working days.
Inspection, approval and notification of decisions
Each refund request is reviewed individually against the terms of this policy and applicable UK law. We will notify you of our decision by email within fourteen days of receiving a complete request. If approved, the refund will be processed without undue delay. If declined, clear reasons will be provided together with any available options for appeal or further discussion.
Refund method, processing time and receipt of funds
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method where possible. Processing typically takes between five and ten working days, although the time for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider. We will provide a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.
Special rules for digital content and subscriptions
Because our offerings consist primarily of digital audiovisual production courses, access is granted electronically. Once you begin streaming or downloading materials the statutory right to cancel may no longer apply. Subscription-based access renews automatically unless cancelled in advance through your account settings. Promotional offers are subject to the specific terms displayed at purchase and may not be eligible for refund after redemption.
Failed payments, duplicate charges and suspected fraud
In the event of a failed payment we will attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to complete the transaction with an alternative method. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded where verified. Any suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations or UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If any provision of this policy is found to conflict with mandatory law the remainder remains in full force.
Contact route, policy changes and last updated date

Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
